Former Arsenal player Jeff Reine-Adelaide revealed that he left the club last summer after being told that he would not get into the match day squad under manager Unai Emery. The youngster left the Emirates Stadium in summer 2018 and signed for French club Angers, where he has excelled, making 35 appearances in the French top division last season.
Jeff Reine-Adelaide has concluded that it was his fault that he didn't make it at Arsenal. The youngster was brought to the club in 2015 by Arsene Wenger but failed to establish himself in the first team before departing in 2018.
Arsene Wenger has confirmed that French youngster Jeff Reine-Adelaide will be part of the Arsenal squad for the Barclays Asia Trophy in Singapore. The Gunners fly out to the Far East at the weekend, and the manager confirmed a number of youngsters will make up the touring party. “It will be a very strong squad,” Wenger told Arsenal Player.
“Reine-Adelaide is something special you know,” he told Arsenal Player. “He is a great talent and when he came on you could see that - 17 years old let’s not forget that. In fact I don't remember how I played at 17 but I didn't play like that!
